The Honesty and Kindness of 4 Strangers Changed Mabel Price’s Life

Mabel Price got into real estate 15 years ago for a couple of reasons. First, the job flexibility let her spend time with her daughters rather than put them in daycare. Second, her husband is in construction and his family was looking for home investments.

Over the years, Mabel owned and managed a franchise with another well-known realty firm. And she became disenfranchised with that firm. She was feeling restricted by the lack of creative freedom, strict corporate guidelines, and a 50/50 commission split were stifling her professional and personal growth.

Like so many other real estate agents who know that if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is, Mabel initially doubted what she’d heard about Platinum Realty. Rather than let the fear of change stop her from moving forward, she contacted four Platinum Realty agents. Not friends. Not acquaintances. Shortly after Mabel made the move, she was tapped for a team leader position. She jumped at the chance because according to her, “I’m surrounded by independent, self-confident agents who take pride in doing a job well.
